Usually when you get the "Hero has to fight for his life for the entertainment of a bunch of rich pricks" trope they make his opponent a murderous rear end in a top hat who loves this poo poo so you don't feel bad when the hero kills him. I'm glad Flash isn't taking that route. In one panel you get that he's doing this to survive like everyone else. It's good.
