Honestly I'm not even sure what the are alleging? They are certainly insinuating a lot of things but it just sounds like two highly educated basically legal peers formed a close friendship, tried a romantic relationship, it didn't work out and they remained friends. All the things that they have suggested are scandalous just sound like how financially secure adults treat friendships and relationships, they don't keep logs of how the split meals or bar tabs or trip expenses, they just try and keep things as fair as possible. None of the expenses sound like extravagant kickbacks, just things that well paid professionals do.

More to the point, nothing about this prejudices the defendants. Whatever the innuendo about impropriety is, it has no bearing on the case that adversely affects the way the case is to be presented. If there's a problem, it affects the prosecution's ability to fully press the case. Like no one's explained how anyone's rights are being impacted here. Because Wade and Willis banged somehow Trumph isn't getting a fair trial? What?

Well, the suggestion is that the only reason that the case was brought was to hire her boyfriend to engage in a complex criminal prosecution so she could get kickbacks. Which makes no god drat sense, especially since Trump is credibly accused of almost 100 crimes in multiple jurisdictions and several of his co-defendants have already plead guilty in this set of crimes.

What? its impossibly dumb and convoluted, but the  idea is if Willis gave this case to Wade so they could profit financially, than Willis/Wade need to be removed from the case and the prosecution passed to a different DA/prosecutor. Fulton County is Atlanta, so in that scenario, the Trimpf & Co. team would be hoping to get a sisterfucking chud DA from MTG's neck of the woods who would then bungle/drop the case. its impossibly stupid and a giant waste of time and money, but its effectively the only hope they have of not being convicted in the state of Georgia
