What confuses me about the picture is the joints seem to be press fit (the rings on the joints look too fat for them to be Yorkshire joints) but they don't have the hexagonal profile of joints that have been pressed. Did this guy buy the expensive joints for the claw machine and then sweat them?

Edit: maybe they are Yorkshire. If so, why?

With that crusty-rear end resolution, I'm surprised you can tell. Usually the pressing of the joints that makes them "hexagonal" is faint enough that you'll only notice it if you're close enough to touch them, from that sort of distance they'd look round.
