Like every mythology has a trickster or a fool that's supposed to cause chaos and subvert things once in a while to make sure things don't get stale. I've been running Serval with Ratio against lightning weak enemies since her debuff & consistent aoe compliment his kit nicely. She's a pretty solid if suboptimal unit in almost any situation. Gepard performs really well against the bug boss but that's pretty much the only time I use him. If enemies were more dangerous he'd be irreplaceable but just running a healer is usually good enough and prevents attrition, alternatively Fu provides more offensive stats and is almost as survivable. I'd probably run Lynx if I had Clara?

I'm a little late here but my general consensus on Penacony characters is I don't loving trust a single one of them. Aventurine - Certified Slimeball. Told him to gently caress off at every opportunity. Acheron - Seemingly means wells to us but I barely know her, not just gonna blindly trust her. Black Swan - Has been waving precisely 2,437 red flags since meeting her. Thanks for saving me but go away. Firefly - Super nice and sweet on the surface but even by the end of the MSQ thus far she was hiding poo poo from us. Sunday/Robin - We barely met them why would I trust mafia big wigs I barely know? My trust stands with my crew. The rest of you extremely suspicious lot got a lot of trust building to do. There aren't too many enemies that do aoe debuffs for an aoe cleanse to matter. Maybe Lynx would be useful in MoC 11&12, but mine doesn't have the raw numbers to sustain at that level.

Anyways I'm going thru the story still now and I didn't really feel anything from Firefly getting ganked even though the game treated it so seriously. Would have worked better if you spent more than an hour with her or if this happened in a patch down the line or something.

I feel like Aventurine is taking the whole friendship thing oddly seriously even if it's framed as a sort of business arrangement. There's a level of sincerity to how upfront he's been about who he is and how he intends to act that everyone else is lacking. He'll screw us over but not like, too badly, and he won't pretend to be doing otherwise which will piss me off way less than "oh I feel so bad because I'm wonderful but I simply must manipulate you instead of just talking for what I promise is a good reason. btw you're not allowed to be mad."
