I'm surprised you didn't say The Giant. The gap between The Giant and The Big Show is parsecs and Vince paid out the nose because he said WCW didn't know how to book a Giant only to waste him for twenty years.

God don't even get me started. WWE would book him as a monster one week and then a corny joke wrestler the next. And the thing is, Wight could have been a great monster or a great comedy wrestler, but they desperately needed to pick a lane with him. The monster act was tough to buy into when you'd seen him be a big goofball the week before. The lovable goofball act was hard to enjoy when you knew it was always setting up for a predictable heel turn.
