If there was a motor at each wheel, how easily could a vehicle spin around in one spot if the left side motors turned one way, while the right side motors turned the opposite way? I guess it would probably be traction dependent?

Also Rivian. And this video from BYD shows a tank turn on hard surface. If your drivetrain can withstand a hard launch I assume it can handle a tank turn on tarmac. And this technology isn't limited to SUVs and trucks. This video shows Zeekr 001 performance liftback doing it on rock slab surface. Weird seeing tires squealing at such a low speed.
