lol right? at bar food type restaurants around here they are usually a couple bucks cheaper, but less food and like half the beef

that's why they throw in a side of fries as filler (that also would have come with the burger), because they are cheaper and at least it soaks up the beer or whatever when you're hungry at the bar

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
I assumed it was because I generally go at like 2:00 AM on a Wednesday but yeah I have noticed they are stuffing that large fry cardboard when I can afford to order one.

Was on the app today and thought it was funny how they still call that section the "$1 $2 $3 menu" when nothing costs just one or two dollars and it is all between two and three.

The 2.19 for a hash brown is insane

Does anyone know, did they change the amount of cheese in the breakfast burrito to like a half slice or something?

It's not the same at it used to be and I stopped going there occasionally for breakfast because of both of these things.

Checked this morning. A loving hashbrown is $1.99

A sausage biscuit was $1.50 and a sausage mcmuffin was like $1.69 or something.

$2 for a loving hashbrown

I eat one of these every day. 15 minutes in the air fryer. Flip after 10 minutes. Doesn’t taste as good as a fresh mcdonald’s patty but it’s close.

The walmart brand one is better. Gets crisper and has better flavor.

I need to try to fry one of these one day. Like proper submerged in oil fry (probably half submerge and flip, like you do skillet fried chicken as just to not waste so much oil.)

It's a really weird world when it comes to any food place it seems. We went somewhere recently, and they had $15 appetizers. The entrees were between $11-14 with a few things a bit more expensive like steak and such. Appetizers exist to munch on while you wait for the meal, at a price that should be 1/3 the cost of whatever an entree is. It was like that my entire life until this timeline took a big poo poo.

When a food is deep fried, the moisture inside it generates constant steam pressure that keeps oil at its surface and prevents it from seeping in. Deep fried items aren't significantly greasier than pan fried.

25 minutes in an air fryer seems like huge waste of energy for a tiny hashbrown.

I've been seeing this a whole lot recently too. wtf?

The apps aren't bigger or anything. Same size, just way more expensive. A lot of the time I just get an app at a place instead of a full meal but it's the same loving price now.
