Dokapon Findom posted:lol lol right? at bar food type restaurants around here they are usually a couple bucks cheaper, but less food and like half the beef that's why they throw in a side of fries as filler (that also would have come with the burger), because they are cheaper and at least it soaks up the beer or whatever when you're hungry at the bar

The 2.19 for a hash brown is insane Does anyone know, did they change the amount of cheese in the breakfast burrito to like a half slice or something? It's not the same at it used to be and I stopped going there occasionally for breakfast because of both of these things.

Yeah the good old days of adding an extra hashbrown for $.50 onto your value meal. It is kind of crazy to think of the margins they get on most things.

It's a really weird world when it comes to any food place it seems. We went somewhere recently, and they had $15 appetizers. The entrees were between $11-14 with a few things a bit more expensive like steak and such. Appetizers exist to munch on while you wait for the meal, at a price that should be 1/3 the cost of whatever an entree is. It was like that my entire life until this timeline took a big poo poo.

Like if it was more expensive cause it’s made to share at the table. But it’s just like 4 regular dumplings instead of an actual plate of them

Dokapon Findom posted:I would like to find out how to do this without the hashbrown itself becoming saturated in oil When a food is deep fried, the moisture inside it generates constant steam pressure that keeps oil at its surface and prevents it from seeping in.
