Sasha Banks isn’t a big get in a company that has maybe 5 total women’s wrestlers who have any heat or good matches. If he signed the top 10 free agents in the world perhaps it would generate more buzz and ticket sales. I can’t think of any matches she could have in AEW that would generate any interest. Toni Storm’s character acting is conceptually interesting but she isn’t very good at it and it’s beyond one note by now. Sasha is gonna get a “what just happened?!” pop, cut a few nasally promos that sound slightly off, maybe have a great match with Athena and then be sitting in catering or doing local morning show promos where she has to explain she isn’t in WWE anymore to the bored hosts for the rest of her AEW contract.
