Try contacting support. Since the stash issue is a known problem they should be able to restore it.

I submitted a bug for that, and for the much funnier issue where all player characters appear naked that I'm also experiencing. Just because it's a known issue that doesn't necessarily mean they have the database backups they'd need to be able to roll it back, though. Guess I'll call it a night and see how it goes tomorrow.

Understandable, but still helps to reach out. The worst that could happen is they say no.

Whats optimal will change based on your corruption levels, but early on, killing the boss twice and hitting 9 base corruption is good. There's a ramping diminishing return after 2, but it's worth bumping up to 3 kills after around 300 corruption. Anything after 4 kills is pretty wasteful, so if you ever get to the point where you might do 5 boss kills before running into a desired obi base, it's probably time to scale back where you reset.

Sure, but PoE's got a decade of league content under it's belt. Based on LE so far I have confidence that they'll be there really quickly too. Feels like all they're really missing right now is some of those pinnacle challenge bosses, and a few more crafting/gear tweaking upgrades and it'll be legit the best combo of ARPG recipes around. They just don't have any of the insanely obnoxious stuff that the others have in different areas.

I much prefer LEs guiding design philosophy over GGGs.

Of course, PoE is much more polished and has a much deeper and varied endgame, but I think that's just a matter of time for LE to go through some cycles.

End of the day, I'm glad to have two great arpgs to play. Hopefully 3 when PoE2 comes out.

Holy poo poo bleed warlock. Am I hacking the game? Should I be getting this many stacks of bleed this quickly? Is chthonic fissure the best spell ever in an ARPG? Does this get even better when I hit monos as I’ve been led to believe?

Mikojan

As a bleed net falconer my max stacks on a boss I've seen so far is 600. Even then though it doesn't come close to the damage I did as a ballista falconer.

I need to find ways to scale bleed outside of just getting more stacks.

I've seen over 300 stacks of bleed on a mono boss. I know my gear is trash also with pretty much nothing that helps bleed, but I do have an item with physical penetration but I doubt that helps add bleed stacks, just more damage. I'm in the level 90 monoliths now with a level 78 warlock and still no deaths post Lagon other than when I got up to answer the door once, although in the level 90 mono I've definitely had to use a couple healing potions to prevent a death. My defenses are not great. Not terrible, but not great.

Bleed is physical so I think stacking physical damage and penetration?

Yea I'm creating a little short list of items I need to look for that specifically have bleed duration, as that seems the most powerful way of scaling apart from penetration, which is quite a bit more niche.

These poles made from wood, and the crossarms from iron.
These are the main endgame bleed uniques: Blood of the Exiled, Valdyr's Chalice, Salt the Wound. I think right now you're better off having the falcon stack bleed for you with Blood Roost and the Rending Barbs node in Aerial Assault which gives your falcon really high bleed chance from caltrops and dex stacking. This reddit post discusses how it performs and includes a planner.

Enjoying the game but skills feeling very unresponsive in this is being a huge annoyance, dunno if that's just the servers lagging but like I'll click Q or W, and the button will flash to show it's been pressed and then nothing, have to hold down or mash it to get a cast off.

Have you heard of Fermat's principle?
Was thinking of picking up this game. While I'll likely play all of the classes at some point eventually, I wanted to look for some advice:

*What classes feel the most unique and different, like something you can only get in this game and not elsewhere? My assumption is the Runemaster, and maybe Void Knight or Lich?

*What classes have the juiciest, satisfying and impactful attack effects (most likely being slower, non-spammy moves)? I was under the assumption it might've been Forge Guard, but Smelter's Wrath looks really lackluster when you unleash it considering its charge build-up: was expecting a big slam.

*Are there any classes which are very high APM, or require active, not passive, defensive play like through dodges or parry abilities? My assumption is this would be Rogue in general with decoy and smoke bombs.

Lightning blast runemaster is pretty active. Only really defensive spell is flame ward though.

I'd say you've identified most of unique classes. Maybe throw in Flaconer if you like the sound of a rogue-ish type who's best friends with the angriest bird alive. I also think Spellblade is pretty cool and a good take on the concept, but his skills haven't really been updated in awhile and are harder to build around as a result.

Attack feedback / gamefeel is one of this game's weaknesses, so I'm not sure I can help you there.

Rogue, Mage, and Acolyte all have teleports on short-ish cooldowns, so they're the best for quick reaction dodging. All the classes have other buttons that can be used for defenses, like Volatile Reversal in Void Knight (early enough in their tree that any Sentinel class can get it) sends you back in time to restore your health and mana, or the new Profane Veil in Warlock that lets you dodge all hits for a couple seconds.

I'd say you're right with those classes feeling the most distinct. Minion builds are also extremely strong and well supported, which stands out compared to what you see in other games.

I think the most satisfying and punchy clear setup for most people is spark charges, which is something every mage subclass can use but Runemaster works best with. Example A Example B.

Other options that hit big with cooldowns are Earthquake Werebear where you do a big screenwide AoE every few seconds (be warned that Werebear has some movement bugs atm that make it a little frustrating to play) and Lethal Mirage Bladedancer which is kind of like a Master Yi alpha strike you juice up and cast every 4-5 seconds.

For more spammy options there's Shadow Cascade Bladedancer where you combo a few skills to create shadows and do a wide aoe slash around them and Elemental Starfield Runemaster which dashes and casts a big, multi-elemental nova and has spark charges, and Celestial Conflux Sorc which is an ignite ailment Elemental Nova setup that uses Meteor for mana regen in a novel way.

In general, big bonk builds perform worse than spammy options in LE because more hits means more triggered effects and better ailment stacking (which all builds want because of armor and resist shred) and because the adaptive damage resist on bosses is extra punishing for slow hitting builds.

Rogue can be APM heavy, but generally people reduce it down to 1-2 buttons with triggered abilities. The build that best matches what you are describing is Shadow Hail of Arrows Marksman. It's much squishier than Bladedancer or Falconer and relies on a low cooldown dash, Decoy to taunt enemies, and Smoke Bomb for its defense. It's offense is also setup heavy where you cast Smoke Bomb to spawn shadows, cast Dark Quiver to throw arrows on the ground, and then use your dash to pick up one of the arrows and buff your main attack.

Mage also has Flame Ward which is a defensive layer you need to time intelligently and Sentinel has Rebuke which is a channeled defensive shell type ability that mitigates a lot of damage.
