What the gently caress is up with that right hand. Who crosses their fingers by putting the middle finger over your ring and then it looks like the index finger is amputated.

(Not making an amateur diagnosis here, just commenting) Finger crossing can be a form of "acceptable stimming" for masking autistics. It was flagged up in my daughter's assessment - I hadn't previously noticed it so thought it was interesting.

A couple of late night London things:

Went to a cocktail bar called [yellow diamond] [red square] [blue circle] or The Bar with Shapes for a Name towards the end of last year for a friend's birthday (after doing VR earlier in the evening). That stays open until 4am. Unfortunately it sucked and/or I am too old. Loud music but no dancefloor. It's Bauhaus inspired so that means all the employees wear boiler suits and the cocktails are all pre-mixed, and taste gross.

After a friend's wedding in Central like 7yrs ago, future wife and I smoked a spliff and ended up finding a full-on 24hr diner. There were people sleeping at some of the tables, presumably using it as a stopover before travelling or waiting to check in somewhere. Food was ok, so there's a not-necessarily drinking thing. Though who knows if that still exists.

Kate's finger injuries have also been attributed to putting them down her throat to vomit. Her weight has always led to some speculation that she's got an eating disorder. When all the rumours about William's affair were circulating in the non-UK press, she was extremely gaunt.

I love the conspiracies surrounding her. At worst they're entertainingly bonkers speculation about a pretty horrible family, and at best they're semi-accurate speculation about a pretty horrible family.

Perhaps the spliff transported you to stoner valhalla, where there is greasy food and warm seating available 24/7.

I reckon there are tons of places you can party all night in London and have a great time, but strangely, they're not the kind of places that advertise to 40-year old goons

You’re right, there are, but you have to already know about them and they tend to be one or two bars/clubs in the arse end of nowhere, as compared to Manchester or Liverpool where you can be vaguely ‘in town’ and there’ll be an entire city centre open to until 4, with the later ‘cool’ places opening ‘til 6am.

Kate photo chat:

I dunno, the proportions of Kate seem a bit off. Her head looks a bit big (though 'lollipop head' has been a feature of women on the edge of anorexia for many years mentioned in many women's magazines - assorted female models & actors with very skinny bodies but regular sized skulls). I guess if her hand wounds are a sign of bulimia that is possible.

Her hands around the sides of the two kids look a bit odd. And the right hand of the boy in blue draped over her shoulder looks a bit too long.
Basically there are 3 hands there that look slightly odd and all look like they belong to the same person (not any of those in the photo).

I hadn't noticed the finger crossing but just tried it on myself and while as an Ancient of Days I'm not that flexible, I could just about do that & after reading Maugrim's post maybe a kid can do that.

IMHO - verdict - a bit of photoshopping if not full on AI on that photo.

A kid I went to school with, was like this. But that's because he was born with those fingers crossed over each other like that. It was like that on both his hands, not just the one.

Can’t believe this, disappointed in everyone but smc to be honest. The top ones definitely his dads kid isn’t he, Jesus.

Or was anyway, as I said they were taken by William because William taxidermied them and has now locked himself in the palace after crashing through the gates and into a pillar last night. William did a massive line and shot Princess Eugene with a grenade launcher about half an hour later is what I heard.

Couple of years ago I was leaving Electrowerkz in Angel about 3am. Some French lads outside asked if I knew anywhere still open. They were extremely scornful about London night life and everywhere closing early.

i dunno if it's really reasonable to expect shops and pubs and stuff to be open 24 hours a day every day. Clubs open all weekend sure, that's what they're for. But it's good for bar staff and retail workers to get some time off.

Few months back I was checking tide times and wondered 'what are these highs and lows measured against, what's the baseline?) so found a chart of future lows and highs predictions- this low only comes around once in a decade or so, it was good timing I happened to be inquisitive.

That is a 'finding bodies' low tide.

Yeah, I don't mean places should be open the whole time, just past midnight on a weekend. There's a nice late bar in Glasgow called the Howling Wolf which is pretty big, does food till like 2am, and doesn't close till 3. It's gets kinda loud and busy obviously but it's not a club. It's a really nice vibe if you're wanting to stop out late. More cities should have places like that, but they seem pretty rare and there's certainly none in Dundee where I live now.

Well, bar the casino I guess. That's open till 6am, but it's not really the best atmosphere given the clientele seen to be old men gambling away my monthly salary in five minutes, young guys obviously on coke, and the occasional bloke playing roulette in front of his partner, who clearly wants to go home and is visibly bored/angry.

I used to work at a reprographics department at a solicitors, that tended to quite analogue heavy and required a lot of scanning old poo poo, it was fun. I was talking to the head of the dept. about books and he printed and bound The Sirens of Titan for me, which was nice of him, never had a 'copy' of a book before.

Oh good, more loving bullshit:

Making the election a referendum on joining the ranks of Russia and Belarus in order to drop Reform's share of the vote sure is an idea, especially with Labour in such an ideologically poor place that they'll roll over for any lies about unelected foreign judges.
