Is it feasible for a wrestler to participate in the g1 and c2 in the same year? If so is there a third round robin that could be tacked on?

Eddie Kingston did the G1 and C2 last year!

As for another one it would be tough since it would involve working with another company and NJPW wanting you for the G1 still. The Tag League and C2 happen at the same time so you can't double dip there.

For the record: I absolutely would not trade the Young Bucks/Lucha Bros cage tag for any kind of Dark Order title run. Just an absolute, [juice]rooooooooock hard[/juice] no.

But if SSB won the new tag title tournament that’d be pretty sweet imo

About to lose the final match and some of the faceless spawn from the Evil Dark Order era run out to make the save, one of them hits Deadeye to help them win, and of course is revealed to be Hangman

Or even better is revealed to be Griff Garrison

two things are very true:

1. it will always be possible to heat the Dark Order back up
2. it will never happen

You wouldn't have to, the bucks held the titles for three hundred some odd days. Fantasy booking time:

Bucks win titles at November Full Gear 2020, the bucks turn heel april 2021 in the mox match, and the Lucha Bros title change happens at All Out 2021 in September.

In my opinion the logical place to insert an SSB title run is after Bucks vs Eddie Kingston/Mox at Double or Nothing 2021. You run it instead of the Penta/Kingston vs bucks mini feud that happened for two months that was just kinda there. Then you give the SSB titles at Road Rager instead of having the bucks/penta+eddie street fight. Then you can flip the titles back to the bucks at All Out if you really want to, and correct history by having the cage match with the luchabros at Full Gear. Probably feels a lot more satisfying because all of the elite end up losing their titles that night.

Sure but theres no reason it couldnt have been a title defence during a lucha bro reign after taking it off dark order, the lucha bros didnt really need the rub of taking the titles off the bucks.

They didn't need that rub but I'm glad they got it, and they should have held those belts longer

It really sucks that Penta and Rey are basically upper midcard jobbers at this point. When was the last time either of those guys got a big win other than the audible called during Mox/Fenix?

Has any company actually defended tag wrestlers as actual specialists? Like whenever a company does the two thrown together main event singles wrestlers vs an established tag team, the tag team basically blows up the main eventers by working together better and being better at the rules?

This is basically what happened every time Samoa Joe tried to challenge the Briscoes for the tag titles.

One of the trickiest parts of this is that often the singles wrestlers have tag team pedigrees themselves: For instance, FTR lost to the BCC but Mox and Claudio both have won numerous tag titles in their careers, so it's not fair to say they're not experienced tag guys

For a big muscle guy Preston Vance is neither that big or that muscly. Or at least deceptively big, I know he's buffer than Hangman and taller than, say Brian Cage but they keep pushing him as a giant monster and he's smaller than, say, Cena.

At least Test was legitimately super tall.

You used to be able to watch PWG's catalog through Highspots' old streaming service (Highspots Wrestling Network?) but the provider Highspots was using for it shut down sometime last year. Nowadays it looks like you can watch PWG shows through Highspots' new streaming site, highspots.tv, but I haven't heard a single person even talk about it. Probably because it's $15 usd a month and all the videos on there seem to be completely unorganized and only findable via search.

(Speaking of which, you might want to remove that link to highspots' old site at the bottom of the OP since its semi-dead now)

boy that logo is horrendous

Speaking of which, are there any youtubes out there that cover bad matches/angles that actually go in depth in talking about them? Stuff like Wrestling with Wregret is fine but I'd like a bit more substance than your average Cultaholic/What Culture stuff.

Edit: It doesn't even have to be bad stuff, I'd actually just like to see more in-depth wrestling videos that actually does research and has things to say besides Dark Side of the Ring
