 I know guitar tone is a thing, and I'm sure Slash brought some production knowledge + the name cred to the song, but it's still loving hilarious to me that they shelled out to get him given the song really doesn't have that fancy of a guitar solo on it.

That song was the highlight of the movie for me, as I'm a sucker for 80's power ballads and it's executed so perfectly as the climax number.
