Feels a lot like the Texans 2023 free agent haul, accumulating proven veterans at relatively cheap deals. Might work out for them similarly. They, uh, just need to add a CJ Stroud

They targeted players that are looking to step into a bigger role. Most of those are two year prove it deals, the ones who excel can get rewarded with good extensions. But nothing has blown me away, just gotta see if it pans out. Peters gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

The Dallas plan for the oline this season is to spend every single draft pick on o-linemen. There will be a surplus, of course. The ones who aren’t good enough to start can fill in at LB also.

The bucs are a good counter example - they haven't signed anyone from outside the team, either, but they've also secured their key free agents. They aren't suffering the same talent drain.
