There’s gonna be a run on QB’s people gonna panic. Gonna be chaos, I can’t wait for draft night. Despite all the noise, the Commanders are going to sit tight and draft a QB at 2. I won’t predict which, I’ll let people smarter than me guess.

This is a solid C+ effort, maybe even a B if some of these pan out. The most important thing is that they’re plugging holes in the roster with veterans that wanna be here on team friendly deals. No chasing the expensive drama filled big name free agent signing where Dan Snyder personally flys out on the private jet to write the check and get the photo op.

Feels a lot like the Texans 2023 free agent haul, accumulating proven veterans at relatively cheap deals. Might work out for them similarly. They, uh, just need to add a CJ Stroud

Cartoon Man

They targeted players that are looking to step into a bigger role. Most of those are two year prove it deals, the ones who excel can get rewarded with good extensions.

But nothing has blown me away, just gotta see if it pans out. Peters gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Not much you can do with 60m cap hit Dak Prescott

MrMojok
Jan 28, 2011

The Dallas plan for the oline this season is to spend every single draft pick on o-linemen.

There will be a surplus, of course. The ones who aren’t good enough to start can fill in at LB also.

I totally get not wanting to overspend and create bad contracts. But I understand being nervous at this very moment.

Want to give pollard a bad contract? Smith? Gallup? Seems like those guys better years are perhaps behind them and they were wanting top dollar.

In that Dallas has done basically nothing but let a bunch of talent walk. They have not added anyone via free agency and lost multiple key starters.

The bucs are a good counter example - they haven't signed anyone from outside the team, either, but they've also secured their key free agents. They aren't suffering the same talent drain.
