The really convenient thing about any poster that still uses “STD” as an acronym for Disco up front is that you can immediately recognize that their post is poo poo without having to read the rest of it.

I cannot stress just how much my kid loved Prodigy. It's absolutely perfect for kids and highly entertaining for parents because it doesn't pull punches. Anyway, I watched "Harbinger" last night and gently caress Phlox so loving much. Worst doctor in Trek, at least this season 3 incarnation of him. "But Captain, torturing this disintegrating man is unethical!" "Do it!" "Alrighty then. Insert the torture nodes here, here, and here." Honestly, just give me the T'Pol and Trip show at this point (is Hoshi even in this season?). Genuinely engaging and fun subplot exploring their romance and it is constantly being derailed by this absolute garbage Xindi poo poo and I hate it. God, the whole thing with the not-a-Suliban agent doesn't even make sense. He was unconscious and needed to be found and brought aboard a ship to do something to its warp engine, but what? It's like Phantom Menace levels of writing. If they had kept him unconscious, he'd have just died. It happened that way because it needed to happen that way, not because it made a lick of sense. Dreadful. Then the next episode was another letter from the doctor episode and I'm so mad at Phlox at this point that I turned it off because I just didn't want to look at him or listen to him narrate another one of his adventures. A shame too because the previous letter episode was really well done.

This is why Mirror Phlox is so much fun. "Captain, I have successfully tortured the prisoner to death!" "Excellent, doctor. How did the interrogation go?" "...Interrogation?"

A coworker of mine is really into it, and he has to go to great lengths to describe an episode outside of like the absolute standouts to get it to ring a bell for me. It's all just so very bleh. It rarely made me this angry, and certainly not for entire seasons though.
