Also I'm sure Rishi's people have costed this all out, and if he could get them to wait a week for £2500 he'd do that instead. But really it's because a bunch of MPs and developers in both the UK and Rwanda have been running the whole thing as a grift while calling it a panacea for so long that he has to have one plane go to Rwanda at least, as a treat.

Oh hey I wrote to my MP about the ADHD medication issue, saying hey europe has a single distributor and it's hosed and while my european colleagues are able to get their meds we can't. Can you find out why? He wrote back and said "yeah it's a global issue, but the government said it was sorted and has basically buried this under a rug, I'll write to Andrew Stephenson, Minister of State for Health and Secondary Care. I don't imagine it'll do anything because they're useless but it all gets added to official record the more people who do this..." Who then wrote back a day later and said *drumroll*  *farting noises* Representative democracy! It works! MP basically said "yep, called it, they're loving useless sorry, if you can't get any meds by May, give me a ring and we'll see what we can sort out" I'm... quite pleased my MP actually responded and he's really nice and seems utterly fed up with pretty much everyone in charge. I really wish there was an 'I vote for my local labour guy but absolutely have no confidence in the PLP and do not wish to support them' option.

Also a good retort to any of the "but it's not natural"  types is that puberty has been getting earlier and earlier for unnatural reasons. Good unnatural reasons like better nutrition or lack of childhood diseases, but unnatural nonetheless. So that gives three options: • Malnourish the kids and give them worms again (worst option, but I'm sure some Tory think tank is looking into it) • Shrug and do nothing, even though there are a number of risks associated with more post-pubescent years and as you say it makes kids miserable (our current track) • Normalize a medical solution (the one they absolutely will not talk about)
