also they often depend on identifying known anti-adblock mechanisms, so if you're filtering it through one, the secondary pass is likely going to fail anyways.

i do not work in finance or in any sort of technical field but it is astounding how much business critical stuff i have encountered that is just a spreadsheet

i have been fighting my boss to get an actual inventory tracking software rather than an excel file from 2002 for tracking hundreds of computers. it probably takes us an extra 10 hours a week total for having to work around it's crusty rear end macros


they're all like that, nobody gives IT money for things. its time to pay computer touchers more money imo

i dont know if they have since replaced it (god i hope so) but i used to work for a gigantic company you have heard of and they had a mission critical internally developed system that ran on microsoft server 2003 and you had to log into it from a virtual machine for some reason. incredible stuff.

Importantly, make sure it is uBlock Origin that you're using, not just uBlock

Vanilla uBlock got bought and allows "non intrusive" ads through. Origin has no time for that BS
