Well that would probably be because they never claimed to have fixed it. Last I saw it was still listed as a known issue in the most recent patch notes.

IMO: arc thrower should arc to more targets, but require full charge to fire with. this would nerf it against some heavy targets but hopefully keep it the same against light ones.

or increase the skill ceiling by making the damage highly variable with charge level, so you need to charge all the way against heavy targets

No idea what to do about no reloads and the impact of that.

They should make the plasma punisher have an unsafe mode like the railgun where it loads more shots out of the mag to do more damage and have a bigger splash radius; and at 80%+ it will close a hole.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE DEAD, MOTHERFUCKER?

Things I learned farming SC:

Req and Super Credits are RNG at the seed level, so they will stay the same each run (+100 req, +10 SC)
Medals will be some level of RNG and I am not sure if there are different levels but your seed will determine a Medal reward is at a POI but the amounts will differ (1-3 so far on this map)

Your "normal" feels like how it was pre-charger head HP nerf, or maybe now if you don't always hit the head.

I wish there was an option to bypass the returning to your own ship / flying to someone else's ship and instead just have a galactic map screen on the main menu for quicker lobby switching. Far too often I've joined lobbies where the players are just AFK in the bridge or purposefully loving about. So I've sat through the animation and loading to teleport to their ship, then when I choose to join a different lobby, I have to exit, go through the animations again, find another lobby in the galactic map, and then teleport again. It is tedious!

Two eats to the cooling fins on the back. It's better to do it coordinated with someone else because it'll start turning quickly and it's difficult to shoot, grab the next eat, aim and fire quickly enough so that you still hit the weak spot. Still, using that method you can kill one tower every minute or so technically.

Curious if the laser cannon can do it in one go after the buff. I know it can be pretty good against those cooling weak points

Yeah that looks totally different from what we see in that video though. If anyone can find a ricochet, either from player or bot weapon that looks thick and blue like that I'd be grateful.

This has some real Divinity: Original Sin 2 energy, which would be perfect for Helldivers 2 to be fair. :v: Just cover the entire battlefield in electric burning hell gas.

If you're in the dead zone and don't have anything else at hand you can also kill a cannon turret with the slugger shooting into its back vents. It's about as fast as the railgun.

You would be surprised how much of a fit "ask your friends not to join" can raise. I have two separate circles of friends that play Helldivers, and members of those circles have crossed over before with disastrous results from personality clashes. This does not stop either group from trying to wordlessly join on me when I'm playing with the other group and then pick fights, and saying "please don't" every time causes problems of its own.

Every other online game for years now has figured out how to make invite only lobbies. I'm sure the devs can do that here, too, and it solves the problem much more cleanly.

The more I use the slugger, the more it feels like people making a big deal about "But it stagger locks robots!!!" is coping with the fact we only need the stagger against chainsaw bots and devastators due to robots constantly warping 5-10 feet up and down over rocks and fencing :argh:

For every satisfying long ranged perfect headshot with the slugger the moment they are dropped off, is a dozen more cases of "Sure wish I had the defender". Because 60 slugger ammo goes by real fast when every third shot has a robot zero shift out of the way. "I will take cover behind this rocky hilltop I am not allowed to climb while I reload-of course they can dead sprint up it instead of pathing around...."

Good thing autopistol loving rules as the backup option of "Kill 2 or maybe even 3 chainsaw bots" when they pull that poo poo.

I also cannot use the slugger because I miss a ton of shots against the little guys. I dunno if it's the movement or lag or what, but it's just too inconsistent for it to be usable for me.

I always just start my own missions, they fill up plenty quick and you don't have to worry about being kicked or the host leaving before the operation is complete.
