So is the musical about the scandal or an adaptation of the original script? Edit: I guess the whole event and scandal. Maybe they'll make references to The Producers. Jimbone Tallshanks fucked around with this message at 04:06 on Mar 17, 2024 |

It's not a scam, it's immersion I just hope the production has absolutely nothing to do with the guy and refuses to pay any royalties, otherwise everyone's just making the scam even more successful

There's going to be a shitload of media coming out of this. It honestly may end up leading to one of the first major AI copyright law battles, who knows. But as it stands now, at least in the US - I don't know about overseas - the ruling has been consistent that you cannot copyright AI generated poo poo - only human beings can create copyrightable material. So unless I'm mistaken, at least in the US pretty much everything around this disaster besides (I would assume) the actors' likenesses and names is public domain.

Ah, so exactly how things should always be across the board. Copyright law is one of the dumbest sticks we have been shoving into our own species' bicycle spikes for over 300 years. It's a disgusting diseased bandaid they want us to put over oozing infected wounds inflicted by capitalism.
