He's milking it hard right now and all he's been reduced to is some Nazi meet-up at a college and got effectively spit on by better people than him before he could give his talk. All it takes is some other pudgy white fascist to kill 3 people (if even that) and get away with it for that flash of Nazi star power to die out completely. I'm surprised he's even made it this long. We'll be hearing about him 10 years from now in some kind of "Remember this loving crybaby!?" and he's going to be some 300+ lb neckbeard in a photo someone took on their iPhone while he tries to hide his face because they recognized him and he's selling firewood on the side of the road. "It's Kyle loving Rittenhouse!. The spree-shooter dude who cried like a baby in court LOL!". he seems intensely stupid and un-charismatic so I can only imagine what one of this "talks" would be like

Dapper_Swindler posted:look at zimmerman. kyle is still trying to grift because its all he has. You took words out of my mouth but I was going to mention Zimmerman. Scrambling to stay relevant with stuff like trying to sell the Trayvon gun. Still committing gun crimes. Also reminds me of OJ a little. I feel like people who receive fame for skirting a murder conviction think they have a halo effect and go right back to committing crimes. I wouldn't blink if Rittenhouse goes right back to inserting himself into hostile situations hoping lightning can strike twice.

kw0134 posted:He incurs about $110k every single day in interest as long as it remains unpaid and will keep paying interest on the balance until the judgment is fully satisfied. Also the Carroll judgments continue to earn interest as well. On top of the interest, trump is paying a lot of money to service the bonds in those cases. Trump is in the hole, legally, close to $560m. This total is accruing interest at around $138k/day.

Arivia posted:The thing to understand about golf is that it makes perfect sense where it was invented (Scotland). There are big stretches of sand dunes between the beaches and the farmable land there, and if you’ve ever looked at a golf course and been like “nowhere in the world is there this mix of grass and sand and water” well actually that’s Scotland (and Ireland too). BTW thank you for this post, I learned a lot

Pook Good Mook posted:Didn't he post the bond in Carroll? Yeah. That's the CHUBB bond. Posting a bond stops collection not the accrual of interest. If we assume the $230k/day in february was just lawyer's fees and that burn rate is going to remain more or less constant and assuming he puts up enough collateral to finally get a bond for the NYAG, trump is burning approximately $430k/day on bond fees, judgment interest, and legal fees.

Like they'll seize it, sell it for $X, deduct their administrative cost (let's say $Y) of the process, then credit the judgment with $X-$Y? Edit: and I'm guessing if it works anything like residential mortgage repossession, they would take the first offer that wasn't negligently low?

Yes I'm sure it would credit from the sale value not the appraised value, I'm just saying even if it sold for it's appraised value it'd be hilariously trivial.

That would have been a more effective legal strategy than setting a pile of money on fire with the worst legal team he could buy. All Trump's legal strategy has done is insure that it was the only thing peoplenhave talked about for months and to keep dragging it out so that everything comes to a head at the worst possible times. The news should be "Trump locks up the GOP nomination!" and instead it's "Trump is losing everything!"

Which explains Tjknp preemptively claiming that he'd be selling any property at "firesale" prices. That will be his excuse as to why his properties weren't actually worth as much as he always boasted. Because real estate prices are historically low right now. Famously so. Hang on, some one just handed me a note.
