Aside from Jorp's idea for a survey to measure whether the Nazis were left- or right-wing being stupid in its conception, his proposed method was so obviously geared to producing the answer he'd want. You just know that "strip [the policies] of markers of their origin" was going to end up with Jorp presenting people with lists like "125% increase in state spending on industry and infrastructure", "guaranteed vacation time at state-subsidised holiday resorts", "tight regulations on banks", "cracking down on exploitative landlords" and then crowing about how loads of liberals and lefties supported Nazi policies. Because when you strip out the context, ideology and goals of the policies you don't get that the social stuff all came with the suffix of "so the Volk will be Strong to fight in the Eternal Race War in defence of the Motherland against the Slavic Hordes" and the banking and housing regulation was against Jewish bankers and Jewish landlords, whose confiscated assets were usually passed to large corporations or private individuals deemed a) sufficiently German and b) sufficiently large donors to the NSDAP.

Holy crap those clips are insane. I was a pretty pathetic and impressionable lonely dude when Jorp first appeared on Rogan, and found him at least reasonable and interesting to listen to (yes I know - I'm not proud of it), but I think you can go back to some of those clips today and still conclude "oh yeah this is a slightly controversial intellectual type". Compare that to this though? Holy crap. There is no way to watch that in isolation and determine that this dude is even capable of bona fide undergraduate study. I almost feel sorry for him.

He didn’t take nearly enough time off to heal the benzo brain, that poo poo can take years if it’s severe. You got to take things real easy for quite a while. Also I think his personality is exquisitely ill suited to the modern internet, the algorithm just chewed him right up. He found himself in the position of both hitting that algorithmic outrage porn sweet spot and also being narcissistic enough that he thought the attention was due to some personal ‘virtues’ or something. And now obviously he’s driven himself completely insane with self-importance (and benzos). I mean I duno but I think he was on the benzos the whole time he’s been internet famous. If you watch his TV interviews from ‘17 or whenever he’s clearly zonked out his mind on em. That’s what gave him the ‘unflappable’ aspect to his arguing that people thought was an impressive sign of his complete confidence in FACTS and LOGIC.. but anyone can not be perturbed in an argument when they’re on benzos, that’s the affect they give anyone
