Sure, but it had issued two orders within 6 months. I guess the hope here is that the court has learned from the past and instead of just reiterating its first order in its second, it issues something with a little more teeth.

I know this is a difficult time to ask for donations, because if you're like me and get paid at the first of the month this week before cash comes in is challenging, but I worry they can't wait until April 1st when more people's paychecks come in.

Please donate now if you can, or maybe in a week when the first of the month comes around.

And this is their GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-get-my-friends-out-of-gaza

They were able to meet the initial goal for passports for their children and families, but still need help with money to cover expenses and pay for housing after they evacuate.

it's mostly a bad history lesson about semi-contemporary yemen. it leaves out a lot of poo poo, such as "why are they so vehement about getting america out of their affairs" and "why the gently caress did saudi arabia start attacking them?"

the main source is some woman at the middle east institute or whatever which i assume is a cia cutout

in the end it finally gets to "why are they stopping israeli ships" and the source's reasoning is (get this) because the houthi government feels insecure that they're not the internationally recognized govt of yemen / only control 70% of the population and want to bolster their support by involving themselves in palestine issues which also serves to distract from domestic issues.

goes without saying: lol

the timestamp of the source's ridiculous explanation is 8m55s.

oh another excellent aspect of it: so they spend the whole time painting the houthi government as illegitimate / rebels / unrecognized / usurpers / whatever, and then they get to the palestine stuff at the very end. and they're like:

"but oh my god. look at these massive massive demonstrations in support of the israeli ship blockade. WHAT IF THEIR DASTARDLY PLAN IS WORKING?!"

like, designed to leave the viewer upset that enormous chunks of yemenis are turning out to these demonstrations in support of palestine because it means their STUPID UNFAIR government might be ??winning?? or something

Doing things that are popular and make you liked by the hoi polloi is cheating and distasteful. You're supposed to win by doing milk-blooded android technocrat poo poo that appeals to no one.

This is what liberals actually believe.

I love this argument because it's probably partially true but who gives a poo poo? They're doing the right thing and if they're motivated by domestic concerns cool the Yemeni people can sort that out

Another way to phrase it is it’s incredibly popular amongst the Yemeni people to fight for the Palestinians and the Houthi government is following the will of the people.

Again Liberals trying to portray a government doing popular things as nefarious or cheating or unfair.

spotted in a recent Qassam tank attack video. these are 85mm F-7 rpgs from North Korea. F-7s have been seen in use since the start of the war, but this is the first time they’ve featured prominently in a communique, instead of the domestic Yassin 105mm.

this report when it’s released is going to be titled “anatomy of a genocide” and is a footnoted document connecting the nakba to today, including evidence of government support of genocide, and calls on all un states to use everything within their power to end the genocide.

have they done this before?
