The great debate rages on Have you ever used either? What’s your take? Walker was ok, great for stability, harder to move, takes up more space when storing. Cane - can hide a sword Easy choice imho

Had to use both when I was recovering from a hip fracture. Preferred the cane, used the walker during the first few weeks though.

Walkers, they let you put tennis balls on them which is cool. And they usually double as a chair for sitting on the go.

I use one of those unbreakable umbrellas as a cane/walking stick. Then I fitted a AK-47 bayonet lug to it and now I have a umbrella/cane that I can attach and remove a bayonet to. Its pretty cool.

Yeah you can look all weak or pompous with a Cane or a Walker, or you can look dignified and purposeful with a Staff.

if you don't need a walker and can do with a cane that's great, if you need a cane and can get by, that's bully for you, if you don't need either, you're blessed my grandmother went from ambulatory to needing a walker in one moment. she drove herself to the grocery store, was walking in and was shoved to the ground by a shoplifter. broke a hip. to this day she's the strongest woman I've ever met. she outlived her husband, my grandfather, a great man, who died after falling in his own kitchen making his own breakfast. He was 96.

I got a cane for when my lower half feels like falling apart on me It's pretty chill, and gets me a seat on the bus when I need it

I use a standup rolling walker, mostly. It has armrests, so I don’t have to put any weight on my hands. It has a seat and also a cupholder. I do keep a cane in my car and one in my apartment, for short distances. I prefer the walker because the cane makes my hand hurt.
