I appreciate that Deadfire has an ending where you can completely skip any of the factional fighting and do the endgame content by your own self. Love it when games have weird third options like that, like how Morrowind will let you complete the main quest by killing Vivec and making a bootleg Wraithguard.

There are 274 episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies totaling about 114 hours of show runtime. Actually you know what, there's roughly two minutes of credits per episode so let's call it 105 hours of actual show. How do you get nearly FORTY hours out of it? Like, even if you want background sleep noise the only person who needs this much is loving Rip van Winkle.

Also the numbers are just generally bigger for some reason and because paizo thinks the only cool part of tabletop is critting, half the special effects and skills in the game rely on you critting and critting is now so insanely easy and frequent that level 5-9 pathfinder 2e combat feels like level 15-20 pathfinder 1e combat. Aww man, that sucks. How about a nice game of Shadowrun instead?

I watched both chunks from last year and yes, you can indeed imagine a different path for the internet involving pre-2000's recappers trading eachother tapes of just rambling about episodes. Yes, there's a potential path where Chapo's Matt Christman could have ended up as someone like this. The video length is to cover 2 other series that were semi-related to it which is Petticoat Junction and Green Acres and the general reception of it Which is a Lot.

The Green Acres section is probably the less bad part of the 3 sitcoms he covers, BHH's cast is insufferable and PJ is mostly like several ads stuck together. You'd think it was like, inner classism as to why you'd probably dislike this show or whatever but no, the Green Acres leads are actually fun and the situation changes a bit other than "Yes the hicks are stupid and dumb and thick and are stuck in the 1900's but the rich people.... are uppity!" I'm gonna add more to this: You'd think that having a character that has multiple backgrounds would help on this but no, Jethro Bodine despite being a doctor and a spy and so on at some point has somehow less characterization than Blobby or Hugo The Tv Troll. Again, you could watch so many episodes of the show with that time that you could have at least as educated an opinon on it as the person making the video, and unless the show has some ties to Dan Schneider produced shows or lost Garfield comics, I'd be amazed if Quinton or his dad have anything unique to add to it. Christ, he's made MAULER look like an expert in editing and brevity.

The most interesting thing you can say about The Beverly Hillbillies is how it got canceled not because of ratings or quality but because of changing demographics. Similar shows also got canned and the event became known as the "Rural Purge."
