Mr Teatime posted:The solution is getting another spanner and hooking it onto the first to double the length and increase your leverage. This was a taper fit and it had to be pressed out, but hitting the taper on the side worked better. I have a big heavy pipe I use for getting more leverage.

Shouldn't they have attached the rope before they removed the bolt holding the pole upright? It might be fine on most days to do it that way, but one day it'll be windy or water will have accumulated in the light cover and that thing will be moving all on its own and, whoops, how do we get it back up now?

It looks like you need to swing it out a little bit before you can fit the shackle in and attach the rope. But it also looks like there's a tab you can put something through to stop it swinging out more than just that little bit, which they're not using at all but probably should for exactly that reason.

Given that the buttons we can see are labeled Start and Airlock, I'd bet it's the former. I'd expect green to trap people inside, but start to initiate some process that justifies an airlock.

It's so shiny and new it looks out of scale. I keep expecting the giant arm of a german RC enthusiast to sweep in to frame and scoop it up and it's all been a perspective trick.

I think she was trying to balance it on two legs to make it easier to drag off. This can work if you understand you shouldn't try to do the splits underneath the thing that's leaning.
