Been getting into Dwarf Fortress again and my best weaponsmith was ambushed outside by a were-antelope. He was severely injured but fended it off until it turned back into a human, which was right when the fortress guard arrived and rendered him into ribbons. Against all odds we were able to rescue the weaponsmith and get him to the hospital. I kinda forgot the whole concept of were-creatures until the weaponsmith himself turned into a were-antelope and slaughtered the entire civilian population of my fortress within seconds. Whoops!

I think it was supposed to come out for the N64DD or whatever that scrapped console was called. It's a cool idea IMO, and Master Quest specifically is designed to kind of trick people who are so used to Ocarina of Time that they can play it in their sleep.

X5 had a cool atmosphere of doom and gloom but thats when the series started really spiralling and X6 is straight up indefensible dogshit.
