I like the structure of it so far. Good way to hit the different groups and weave them together. Shows already showing the setting better than the games can pull off. Dale Dickey makes a more memorable quest giver and shopkeeper NPC in a few scenes than some entire games worth of main characters.

when people say "the games" like they're a monolith, it gives me pause. the franchise is in roughly the same place as star wars circa 2010. there's three very good ones and three that are complete poo poo.

Its a fun show but the lighting really does make it look like a capital one commercial. Really my only complaint. Oh and the composer gave Walton Goggins a really, uh, out there theme song. It was funny at first, but then it got a bit distracting

Fallout is a bit better than expected but it took to the second ep to get me into it enough to want to finish They don't have a 'War Never Changes' blurb/speech, it's fuckin criminal imo. We understand from this the shitfucks at Bethesda only consider 3+ actually to have happened aside from retcons on poo poo like Shady Sands. It's pretty annoying but enjoyable past the gently caress you to everything the series of games was originally built on.

Civil War has giant CGI effects shots of rockets blowing of buildings in the trailer, and is part of a pivot by the studio to start making more traditional Hollywood blockbusters. (A plan which includes letting private equity ghouls sink their hooks into the studio so they have the cash to make big blockbusters.)
