So an interesting quirk of using AI to write stories, from comments of people who have tried- because it's just trying to predict the next word, it has a tendency when creating fiction to simply link random plot points that ignore whatever came before it, or entering a circular logic loop, where characters are constantly talking about almost being ready to maybe possibly go and do a thing, which will definitely happen. Repeat for a dozen pages. So I can believe Stantis and co have handed over part of the creation process to AI, based on those two.
