He self-evidently didn’t do enough to instill in her that guns are not loving toys, and now a woman’s dead and his daughter’s life is probably ruined at only her mid-20’s because of it.

In a western town where an ineffectual and corrupt justice system allows killers to walk free, who will right the wrongs and hold the villains accountable? Who will be the vigilante lawman that makes things right?

Jack-Off Lantern posted:I mean she can never legally own a gun again or work in her Nepo baby career. The likelihood she'll fall back into the industry is high bc there's really not very much oversight tbh. Randall Miller was supposed to be on a 10 year probation from directing after the Midnight Rider incident in 2015, instead he went right back to it and released a film in 2020. Miller claims he thought he was allowed to still direct as long as he's not in charge of safety lol. He's now been told in no uncertain terms he's not allowed to direct again until his probation ends, but in two years the probation is over and he'll be right back to it. AND He's been petitioning to end his probation early - he's clearly still building relationships and planning to work after this is all over. i think the woman’s career as an armorer will reach new heights after she’s out who is going to be more safety conscious than someone whose negligence has already cost a life and resulted in prison time? you think she’d let that happen a second time?? if the oceangate ceo had somehow survived being crushed 20,000 ft beneath the sea, think how much the safety culture would’ve improved when he returned to work!

She will 100% be an armorer after she gets out. She'll be attached to a string budget project that is desperate for attention and hiring her will get eyeballs. Like others have said she'll be the best goddamn armorer in the world for that project, and then from there inertia will carry her to another job afterwards. It's at that second gig where she gets someone else killed

John Landis continued to get work after killing several people on one of his movies, but he was also a rich white dude in the 1980's and thus completely unaccountable for any crimes. The Twilight Zone trial was going on during the production of Three Amigos. Rumor is that Chevy Chase cracked a joke about it at some point during filming and nearly got in a fistfight with Landis. Story sounds believable, as Chevy Chase has a reputation for being a huge jerk.

Yeah, but he never killed anyone. That we know of anyways. I’m a firm believer that every single famous 80s comedian has hunted a human being at some point. Rick Moranis has probably killed thousands.
