I think in smaller cities they get used basically interchangeably for the same thing but in larger cities bodega/drug store/convenience store are basically considered different things. A bodega is not going to be a large operation, doesn't really serve people in automobiles and is going to have like a really localized selection. Unless you know the neighborhood, you can't walk into one an expect to just assume what you are going to find. Then there is a convenience store that most people are familiar with, it's kind of like a bodega but they likely sell gas, are run by larger organizations with basically no hyper-local selection and then a drug store which is basically a very small grocery store with more personal care items, a pharmacy, some light merchandise. You go to a bodega to buy like a candy imported from Mexico, a convenience store to buy a Pepsi and a quart of oil and a drug store to buy a full size frozen pizza and some shampoo.
