was debating between a few receivers but id rather roll the dice on him. I wouldnt mind going defense but I don't love most of the defensive options in this draft and everytime my pick comes up there's just been a run on all the dudes I like.

Time to start taking QB shots

Was hoping Kris Jenkins would fall there but not even really close so the hawks take their shot on a guy they don't have to start. Take shots jntil you find the guy

I like the Calen Bullock pick. He's cool and fits the Colts so well.

Managed to get another one of the guys I like a whole lot, wouldn't be that surprised if Michael Hall goes much earlier than this in reality. Also wouldn't be surprised if he goes later because apparently there are 'character concerns' despite the fact that no amount of online searching would enlighten me as to what exactly those concerns consist of. Hopefully they aren't serious...

In any case, he's looked at as a bit of a pass rush specialist due to being a bit undersized in terms of weight, but at 6'2.5 and and with 33.5 inch arms, I'm pretty comfortable with his overall size. Better yet, despite playing at 285 for Ohio State he showed up to his pro day at 299, and then proceeded to absolutely dominate the athletic testing. So there's a lot of promise there with being able to fill out and be a three down player. He's got a pretty incredible swim move and is better against the run than you'd think, although definitely has the penetrating style which sometimes works against the run but sometimes creates big voids in the defense, depending on recognition. Pairing him with Kobie Turner and a nose tackle in five man fronts (which the Rams do a lot of, actually) would be great, then take out the nose tackle for obvious passing situations. The only problem being that Kobie Turner technically IS the nose tackle for the Rams, so it would be cool if they could find a bigger, more sturdy guy for that role. I miss Michael Brockers and Sebastian Joseph-Day :(

Definitely has a ways to go, but as a high upside guy who can hopefully benefit from NFL strength training and coaching, pretty happy with this pick. Up until he drunk drives into an amish family of 37 or something

e: Also, he's only 20 years old which is nice. Hasn't hit his athletic peak yet.

Nobody move and nobody gets hurt.

Honestly I was debating between Bullock and Hall myself, but the Colts real GM seems happy to pay DL and doesn't seem at all interested in paying the secondary, so I felt like the draft was the only route for improvement.

I was considering making a Rattler pick if he was there at 101 :v:

also speaking of that, I doubt we're going to come anywhere near finishing the 4th round before the draft even if we try to start it and also there's something kind of nice about the third round finishing on pick 100 so we should probably stop there, as much as I would like to make another pick

Yeah, it's like I said, the third round is a real gauntlet for a variety of reasons. We'd have to finish the third round in the next day or two for it to be really worth going for the fourth in my opinion.

I'd like to thank Satan for everything he's done for this organization

The reality of watching this Goon Draft go down is telling me the best option for the Broncos is to trade down so we can get into the 2nd. It's the only way to get value out of this draft. I feel like this year's Day 2 is super duper important.

Actually why are there 100 picks in the first three rounds? There are five comp picks in the third, which should add up to 101 total with 96 being the normal amount through three rounds. Did some team lose a pick somehow?

Oh right, looking it up that's exactly what happened. Not just any pick, their first rounder due to tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton.

Personally, I wouldn't tamper either of those guys with a ten foot pole

that's why. that's the only way he could become the best player left on the board. just loving kidding. the best player is still up there. and i have a feeling he's going in the 4th round. if i had a 4th round pick i would have thought i'd have a shot at wallace but i already don't. but i don't have one of those picks. i don't give a crap
