I started a randomizer run of this game just last week to get back into the groove for when the DLC comes out soon. Hyped to follow this along, as well. It's weird seeing all the items in their intended locations after not having touched the game for over a year before.

Meanwhile, I rewatched the Wind Waker LP sometime in the last half-year, and began playing Breath of the Wild as my own First 3D Zelda Game. Every shrine, every puzzle, I could hear the shrieking "The thing! Do the thing! You've got it, you're right there, just do the thing!" as I stood there confused and clueless. Breath of the Wild, thankfully, seems to be made around solving puzzles in the wrongest way possible.

I'm only up to the previous video, but I have to say that it's refreshing to hear  )Anyway... it feels weird to see Stormveil Castle at this stage of the game, because when I played Elden Ring I managed to completely miss the way to the castle for I think about as long as it was possible to do so, like some kind of genius. Like I said to my friends at the time: me being dumb posted:You know I'm about 53 hours in now, level 70 or so... and I just realised that it's not that they were being super coy about (I'm assuming) Godrick the Grafted being the first main objective but having him waaaaay into the game - it's that I managed to miss the road to Stormveil Castle like 40 hours ago. (I was also wrong about where I got to being an end-game area. This game is huge.) My problem was that I got the wrong idea about the "guidance of grace" pointers on the me still being dumb posted:I had another look at the map, and the guidance of grace at the site of grace nearest the castle entrance was actually pointing at it... but as it turns out it was easy to miss the entrance and find another site of grace past the castle. That one doesn't point you at the castle; it points directly away from it, even. I also never encountered Boc. (The guy disguised as a bush.) Looking forward to seeing what else I completely missed!
