yeah i just assumed that if houston of all loving places was doing it then it would be more common but apparently only a few other cities are. salt lake city for one which is also not something you would expect. but it works, and it's great. houston has seen a 53% decrease (according to the city's website) in the overall homeless population since 2011 despite the city itself adding 200k residents since then and the metro area growing by more than a million. it's really quite the accomplishment.
