the star wars space shooter game was pretty sick in vr, it's a legit advantage to be able to track the other guys through the cockpit canopy

if it's like the star wars trilogy arcade game from the 90s then that rules. I think the N64 game had some similar levels. Or the battle pod. Or TIE fighter or x-wing for pc

at the DuSable museum in chicago I did the VR experience they have that's supposed to be a recreation of the March on Washington and the "I Have A Dream" speech. it was kinda cool i guess? but basically just an on-rails unity thing that wasn't particularly polished or anything

its like the 64 game, rogue squadron, crammed in with a completely dead live service multiplayer game. campaign is pretty short. its frequently on sale for 5 bux and thats the perfect price point for it

it kind of sucks it tanked so hard because it really is a lot of fun

I like how they decided the Empire needed to be more inclusive despite being yknow the Empire, so the main character in that part of the story is a gay Asian dude

Shadows of the Empire and that arcade game had similar Hoth levels, maybe the same because I remember both having a room with captive Wampas in them you had to fight for some reason.

Edit: if it was cheap enough to compensate for looking like a doofus I’d buy track IR for Elite Dangerous.

Who are you to glizzy gobble El Vago's marshmussy?

And really, so long as you're human, that's probably good enough for the Empire.

Try FreeTrack. Ditched Track IR for it myself. Facial feature track is much better than loving with IR diodes by far ime.

unexpectedly, Zone of the Enders VR is extremely fun. but they only went halfway with the idea--all the cutscenes and dialogue freeze your screen and shatter the immersion which is a shame.

There is a cut scene from ESB of C3P0 removing a "DANGER: WAMPAS" sign from a door as they retreat from the base.
