One started doing it and then the other two imitated the behavior because I rewarded them with pets. I wish I could figure out how to get a pic of it. One of them waves at me from across the room with his paw when he wants pets. That may be easier to get a pic of.

Mine are currently going nuts on mice and voles. The farmer who stores his equipment in our quonset shed stopped by to compliment how mouse-free they've kept the place. Particularly this one:  Panini is murder queen.

Mx. posted:my cat turned off my alarm and then attacked my head Yeah it turns out that they've made iPhones a bit too easy to use, since one of my cats (the one going ham on her scratching post there) tried to eat mine one day, and in the process of pawing at the phone and licking it, she had managed to somehow... - unlock the phone - get into the dialing screen - dial in a good 16 digits before I realized what the phone dialing noises coming out of my headphones were and took the phone away. And now I'm wondering how many cats have accidentally managed to dial 911 over the years. Has to be more than zero!

There was a heavy thunderstorm last night, the kind when thunder is right next to your house and the rain is heavy enough to strip leaves off the trees. Streaky was very adamant about going outside. I think he was a sailor in a past life or something. He's got the thumbs to be a ship cat.

She was maybe 7lbs and if she didn't come in for the night there would at least be one dead mouse by the door in the morning, sometimes rabbits that were the size of her. Indoors she was the nicest cat but outside she went into this predator mode and kept the garden clear.
