Trying to find my old wireless Xbox one controller, it's stuffed but I got a new one in from ozgameshop on a discount/sale ($72 delivered!) and just want to switch the faceplates over (mine is a limited edition battlefield 1 xbone, so olive drab with different coloured buttons). Nothing major but muh aesthetic

reminder that NSW at least is 30% tax on all pokie profits.

combine that with all the pressure on the health system and who knows whats gonna happen.

Maybe they'll start looking seriously at negative gearing and the massive tax rorts in place as well as the huge tax dodges done by dozens of large companies? The people of Australia can't support the entire country forever and this may be the thing to prove it

isnt neg gearing a federal thing, whereas pokie tax is a state thing?

stamp duty etc is the stuff that state collects on real estate

To be fair the reason the state budgets lean so heavily on pokies is bc their federal funding got slashed to poo poo and the feds gave em pokies to make up for it

Yeah stamp is state, it's no wonder they're so happy for house prices to be so high, the revenue alone is remarkable.

I'll be floored if the Liberal Government! chased up those who dodged paying tax last year. I think it was Michael West Media that tallied up over 130ish billion in unpaid corporate tax in the top 40 dodgers.

It'd take that party some serious balls to actually do their job.

Yeah I'm not 100% on what lies where but regardless the state and federal budgets will surely take a big fat hit from the now million plus casuals now unemployed and I doubt the stimulus is going to have the effect they're expecting it to

Idk, we will see

Idea: we know from government advice that children (no age brackets provided) are 100% safe to be around as they can't transmit the disease, that's why schools are open.

Why don't we instead have highscoolers (yr11/12) take on essential roles, delivery services, frontline medical duties, etc?

because this information is wrong, and there is several cases of children under 10 in NSW now.

I made a poker bot that even some really lovely logic made like 18x its starting chips in a few days of play money. It wasnt good enough to do this at 1c tables because the level of play goes up dramatically for real money.

Maybe nows the time

Of course it's wrong. I just don't understand why the government hasn't announced this course of action. It is perfectly consistent with their messaging so far.

Reading about how Richard Wilkins has had three coronavirus tests come back positive and he still has no symptoms. Is it possible that the Entertainment Reporter for the Today Show has some kind of superhuman DNA that holds the key to the coronavirus cure?

Wilkins sees a bunch of high profile people at his job and has close contact with his staff, makeup / hair people, actual journalists at the station etc. Dude could be a serious spreader if that’s true.

Tv Hair / makeup folks are in close contact with a bunch of people who recently fly in from overseas. Yet another surprising vector and victim of the pandemic u know ?
