I can’t remember driving my NA without a smile on my face. I definitely should have kept it around. The Del Sol comes damned close to the same feeling and has the same stigma. Maybe some people just like to rag on happy cars.

Supercars used to be cool when it was like "i hope one of the 5 different supercars out this year depreciates enough that i can drive one" Now there's a new $3m limited run supercar coming out every week for oil barons to squirrel away in private collections. This one is extra poo poo because it's not street legal and needs a top end rebuild every 6200km so it will never be driven anywhere ever. Does it have the usual Pagani ugly as sin interior or have they toned it down because 'race car'? The exterior was always kinda OK, they do all look very similar though but the interior on stuff like the Huarayaya or whatever it's called was like an assault on good taste. I'd rather have half a dozen or more Ultima GTRs in rainbow colours and give them away to mates so we could have our own race series tbh.

Hypercars just kind of wallow around in artificial requirements for style and speed. They're not comparable to anything and as attainable as hitting the powerball. They do make cool bedroom posters I guess. Hypercars are dumb. It would be cool if WEC really got the racing class going to give these things purpose instead of wandering around collections and car shows like zombies.
