it's actually good to stop people from listening to blind guardian because they're been some bad poo poo for several decades now.

The Live DVD BG release was really awesome. Their new stuff isn’t bad it’s just not who THEY are in a sense. It’s the same way I feel about Opeth. Less Claypool fucked around with this message at 23:20 on Oct 16, 2019 |

Nah the best Sonata Arctica song is that one where he's like "you were in the cold air without underwear, I stole your earring and lit a candle" He's a weird rear end lyricist

Yes. I'm not a big fan of Amon Amarth but they are phenomenal live, every time. I never miss them its a 100% guaranteed awesome time. IDK what this gatekeeping thing is but I have to admit if the whole club is singing the bard song and you don't know the lyrics its clearly everyone else's fault and the whole BG fanbase should know better than to do singalongs. Stupid bastards all of them I really wish they would still play "And then there was silence" every now and then, that was *the best* singalong! Everyone would grab each other shoulder to shoulder and the band would stretch the "la la la the nightmare shall be over now" part for a few bars and everyone jumped around and was happy singing. Man, BG and Maiden are probly my favorite bands of all time, I've seen both of them like 7 times Mr. Pickles fucked around with this message at 08:45 on Oct 17, 2019 |

Lol I loving hate those guys doing that gatekeeping poo poo. One time someone asked me to tell me Mike Muirs nickname pointing at my ST shirt. I told him to go gently caress himself. He was drunk and obnoxious though. Edit: Wasn't even a kid but a 40 something lmao Monstaland fucked around with this message at 14:06 on Oct 17, 2019 |

comps work really well for some bands imo. i get the urge maybe once a year to listen to the misfits and compilation 1 is all i need to scratch that itch

you know the misfits were true punk because 75% of their original discography was on 7" singles that constantly went out of print

Then I listened to it and it just seemed off. Wasn't until later that I figured out what had happen.
