In my experience if you order a couple items from a single seller they'll all ship together. Otherwise one order with multiple sellers will result in multiple packages. Generally I only order one or two items to a time though, usually spread out over a couple of days.

I have a bad habit of finding one thing I like, shopping for the best price, then ordering up to a dozen more things from that seller just because they're cheap and I feel bad just ordering one thing.

Same. I once ordered a single 50c sticker and then felt bad for not getting more at the same time. But having more sellers i your order means you get more nice surprises so during one week I was getting a new package every day.

I actively avoid having sellers combine shipping. If shipping is free I want as much shipping as I can get. If I want multiple things from one seller I'll order them one at a time after the previous one is marked as posted.

depending on where you live the shipping from China is in part paid by your own postal service anyways so the Chinese don't give a gently caress. Look it up if you're interested in the details.

nooooo I kinda like it. I found some cheap paper from India and enquired about their shipping to the US. The goods totaled $3 and the shipping minimum will be $7 so I had to let it go  It sucks when a reliable seller on AE runs out of stock and doesn't restock for monnnnths now. Also, our library has a little art gallery and this month's exhibit includes a triptych made of glued down perler beads with some black ink rubbed lightly over th top. She's asking $400 for it. Another of her pieces is dowel rods of varied widths cut to varied lengths, glued to a substrate and painted with a copper paint and some light glitter. $300. I went hope and priced perler beads on AE just in case I lose my loving mind.

I ordered some stationary back in mid-July and it only just got here today. I didn't do a dispute cause it was like four Euros and I didn't want to go through the hassle of it, plus I figured it very may well eventually find it's way to me anyway. There's always hope I guess for late packages.
