The new Necrot doesn't let up. Their best yet for sure, it hit the spot for me. "Sinister Will" and "Mortal" are my initial favorites, but really i didn't feel like the album slumped anywhere.

I’m not usually this harsh about music but honestly if you’re like me and genuinely like In Flames it’s really best to just ignore everything related to them nowadays. It’s just... nothing but really mediocre output. There’s nothing worse than average metal. Give me poo poo rehashed riffs with some feeling behind ‘em at least. In Flames feels like an algorithm now.

Tetragrammacide are a band from India playing in a roughly similar war metal style although the guy that writes most of the songs is actually Russian. I think you'll have trouble finding much from the smaller countries in the region.
