How far down do rents go in the winter? I found a place in Portland for $890 per month, for a one bedroom but was wondering if I should hold for something cheaper that will popup November or December.

Not much in my experience of renting her over the last decade or so. It's not really a college town and the winters aren't particularly awful (just dreary) and I've never noticed much of a seasonal fluctuation. That's all anecdotal though.
