Even if he survives all that he's gonna be all hosed up and scarred for the rest of his life. That's just a sad real life story, not a fun comic book story

I had to have my cat put to sleep this evening. I know she was only a cat, but she was a loyal friend and companion for 15 years and it was still one of the hardest decisions I think I've ever had to make.

Thanks for saying, and I sure do hope so; she she definitely wasn't well - she'd been ill earlier in the year but recovered, but then it was a very fast decline over the past week. Still, she was never treated unkindly and she never wanted for anything. 15 isn't bad for a cat. You know what they say, "And though you are not sentient, and do not comprehend, I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend."

I feel for you and and your cat, try and take solace in knowing that you provided a good home and love for her. That being said, TNG was a loving horrible tv show, and this is a very good example of why.
