The Demon Child is hands down the best event in the game; the only time I got it I ended up with a genius who crowned himself Roman Emperor and artificially prolonged his lifespan by stealing life from his own children, terrorizing Europe for a century.  I suggest taking down Denmark and spreading the Cathar faith to Britain as soon as possible, assuming you can convert back.

While I am within my rights, as per the laws of our lands, to seize pagan land with impunity, they do not go down without a fight.  We are slowly purging the pagans from our lands! Having pagan vassals can be bad, because they can block conversion to our religion, or even convert them back.
