So yesterday was my first day in Goonwaffe. I thought I had a basic idea how to play Eve but I was quickly proved wrong as mechanics from 0.0 that I was not used to became confounding. I had to learn how to do everything all over again it felt and as I finished reading my 16th wall of text post I realised poo poo is hard. I cried for help in little bees and someone told me to jump on mumble and all these people gathered around to help me move down, even giving me isk to help. Then they took me out ratting and babysat me the whole way. Then, after all that, I got to go out on a fleet. We killed a stabber who was shooting me and another ship I forget the name of and they had me in half structure but I lived. I was shaking. I feel pretty happy about the whole thing. Goons is a good place to be for a new player.

I like the people in Theta but Theta comms have been turbo-spergy ear cancer recently. Maybe they were before, I wasn't around enough in Dek to really know. There's a purge Saturday but as far as I know that's just forums stuff, standing fleet comms and jabber are open. Sigma seems like they might be chill and awesome though.

If we fly into a larger gang, we will 100% die and we already know this. Whelping is no big deal whatsoever and prop mod isnt going to save him. Tackle I'm not too worried about from the guy, because we can just have other, better pilots for it. This is gonna be a 1 way trip, we are not coming back. We just want this person on grid for as long as possible (and able to apply somewhat relevant dps). I'll drop a plate for an eanm. If the booster hp/s is irrelevant, I guess i'm just going to go with the Tempest. Risk aversion is not the game plan.
