It's not the idea of someone finding Terry Crews attractive that shocks me, it's the idea that someone thought "Hey, that enormous man is sexy! I should go and grab his junk in front of his wife. I see no possible way this can go wrong." It emphasises how these people think their power, real or not, makes them untouchable. Someone with that mentality (and I'm not saying that Colbert or Stewart are examples of this) aren't necessarily going to be put off by anything.

I know what you're going for but that actually makes it significantly less surprising that someone with power and authority in an industry will use it to make himself feel powerful over another person one would consider very strong. It gets said a lot but it still bears repeating until everybody stops denying it that sexual harassment, molestation, and outright rape are not actually about sexual pleasures but about feelings of power and superiority over another human being.

If an industry where getting ahead caused one of the most intimidating black men to not pop a sleazy, molesting producer in the face why do you think those 3 women would have not kept quiet about it? I'm not saying Stewart or Colbert or Carrell or even Whitmore are guilty but in order to get ahead people die a thousand moral deaths and I wouldn't be surprised they justified their advancement for not speaking up sooner.

Incels believe that sex is an economic commodity that women have 100% monopolistic control over (because of feminism), and that "normies" (the below-average to average people with girlfriends at walmart) are inherently cucked, and therefore are being stolen from, because their women have hosed other people in the past, and are definitely loving Chad on the side right now. They don't want the woman at walmart who will settle for a regular person. They want a pristine teenage virgin who will give 100% of her available sex to her first boyfriend who she also marries first. They're also convinced that not only do vaginas stretch out after sex, they retain some kind of essence of every previous partner, and labia darken, stretch, and grow with the number of partners. This somehow does not affect monogamous women who really love banging their one guy. Women are referred to as "roasties" as in "roast beef" because of what our deflowered genitalia look like. Porn stars, of course, frequently have labiaplasty to keep things tidy, dontcha know. (labia, like everything else, get a little bigger during puberty, but otherwise you're born with the flaps you got)

One of the GBS mock threads had dug up a post that had calculated how much sex-mileage the average vagina had based on the inches of dick going in and out. (Notably, the estimate they used for number of thrusts for every intercourse was like 30 or 40 )

That article was waaay overstating what happens in the video and trying to compare the Cosby case and Louis C.K. is pretty dumb. Cosby is a huge household name that's been seen as a family friendly hero for decades and the rape accusations were huge while Louis C.K., while a well known comedian, isn't nearly as much a household name and it's hardly weird that some people would know about the Cosby case earlier in it's time than the Louis C.K. thing.

Very related to the current topic, a local tv-producer/presentor/all-round creative tv man has also been ousted about "boundary breaking behaviour" as it is nicely worded in the article I read, and the channel he is currently working with has decided to stop working with him. (not going to link the article since it's in Dutch) Of course all the comments are blaming the anonymous victims for "getting the guy in that position how DARE they accuse this great funny man of terrible deeds??? fucken cowards"- that kind of neat stuff. Schadenfreude on me for expecting something better from this shithole of a country I guess.

I said that this has been an open secret for years. Gawker posted an article about an unnamed comedian who was pulling his junk out at women back in 2012, and the commenters were saying "Yeah, that's Louis CK, everyone in the comedy scene knows about it." If he's talking about the article on Stewart, the only comparison to Cosby was the caller asking Stewart to have the integrity that Hannibal Buress did when he spoke out. Maybe it's not fair to put Stewart on the hot seat like that, but if you believe Stewart when he says he never heard anything about it, well, okay, but I don't.
