I don't think there's a single FF game I haven't at least tried. 11 was mostly me watching youtub tutorials for half an hour then deciding not to bother though.

I hope 3.0/launch is at least more similar to KH3 or how versus XIII was going to be. So bearing in mind that the gameplay we've seen so far isn't really valid anymore due to system changes, and the gameplay I have got from 2.0 is void, the XV I've seen so far looks unspectacular at best (bad is an overstatement) but their noted interest to make things better bodes well for the game, though as a pessimist I'm not sure they can steer the ship well enough in the right direction with the time they have left to make a truly good game.

It's really easy to do lots of the content in XI nowadays. The days of LFG for 10 hours are long gone. Lots of ways to get super powerful and splatter former endgame content as well as NPC helpers and such. Granted, it'll take a long time to learn how to do that and where to go to do things, but that's the nature of an ancient MMO for you. The story as a whole has some interesting characters though, like the ones you see in Dissidia like Prishe and Shantotto. And yeah, taste comes into it, but it's pretty flat and drab to me and being only 30FPS doesn't help. It does look better in the city scenes we saw with Leviathan shooting about, but I don't really think this generation's all too great as a whole and am a firm believer of art styles and alternate approaches looking better than attempts at realism. I'd take the new Valkyria game's graphics over everything we've seen in XV so far for example and we've only seen a handful of screens from that game. Re 15: Visually I think it looks pretty though it chugged a little on PS4. Not the biggest deal since FO4 does and it's still fun. The VA/direction was outright shoddy but like has been said, they've said they're addressing it. The combat in 3.0 is what I'm really wondering about. Taking out automatic attacks is fine but I don't want to button mash and I'm not expecting Bayonetta or even Souls' quality of combat. I mean, that would be cool but I don't see it happening. Just sort of antsy to see what exactly it's going to feel like.

I prefer Cidney to Cindy and even considering the unisex nature of the name, Cidney strikes me as the feminine way of spelling it as opposed to Sidney being a male way. Cindy just reminds me of Commando and no FF game will ever be as cool or fun as Commando, it's not a good look.

I'm honestly kind of hoping that Cindy is just a one off character that appears just that once and never again, the rest of the game your mechanic buddy is the actual Cid, because a story centered around the friendship of a group of guys should have as little female screentime as possible. This is no game for love interests, the closest you come is taking Gladiolus to the movies to watch Bahamutzilla, but not in a romantic way, just two bros hanging out. Do we even want her to be named CIDney? Like, look at the track records of Cid characters in Final Fantasy. One caused Dissidia to happen, one blew himself up with explosives after leaping from an airship, one couldn't stop the fire crystal from exploding, one was a wife beater, several aided the evil empire, one was basically a lame Big Boss in charge of a PMC school, the list goes on. Maybe FFXV Cid decided to name his daughter that to spare her the curse of Cid?
