Also there are absolutely goons that don't announce who they work for but lurk or even post in threads about their industry or company. Not a ton of higher-ups, mind you, and it's mostly tech jobs, but it's not totally crazy to think that there are camera ops and such posting in the movie threads.

I've worked in independent film before. Nothing major, but it's still at least equivalent to a joke meme movie like the Shrek thing I'd say.
