Not going to, I agree completely. This is why x86 has pretty good code density compared to classic RISCs (let alone Itanium lol)

Serious answer: it's a bunch of functions that let you apply functions across various complex data structures in Haskell. Unfortunately the author decided to make these functions into operators like <~~$$$$$>, which are somewhat hard to keep track of mentally.

the Forth compiler targets my Commodore 128 RPG’s script VM

this is for my latest acquisition that I posted in the old computers thread, a Tektronix protocol analyzer that’s secretly a 486 PC running a giant transputer

I ran a test program that visualizes a Mandelbrot set I found online and the transputer part works fine so now I need to do something with it lol

occam’s not so bad

it’s really low-level, almost assembly like in a lot of ways, but also makes you be specific about whether any particular chunk of code needs to happen sequentially or can be run in parallel
