I can highly recommend "The Redirect" as well, for anyone who is interested in a podcast specifically about immigration law. It's by a really great dude who frequently calls into the Majority Report under the moniker "Ronald Raygun." He always has good stories, although a lot of them don't have happy endings, because gently caress this country. Still, give it a listen.

Isn't Trump in the position that he absolutely despises everything about being president and that they literally have to wheel him in front of people so he can get his endorphins goin', but because of... well, pretty much everything his administration has done in the past two years, being POTUS beyond 2020 is the only thing keeping him out of trouble?

I don't think any part of him really believes he'll actually get in trouble. He has no reason to. I imagine he wants to stay on as president because his need to inflate his ego vastly overrides any other wants or emotions he may have. That and it's very lucrative for his business interests.

Idle speculation, assume trump doesn't run in 2020 for some reason (divine intervention, republicans growing a spine, MUELLER she wrote, whatever). Who wins the republican ticket? Mike Pence?

The only way Trump doesn't run is if he dies in office, and in that case it'll be Pence.
