okcupid hides accounts with three months of inactivity, and I don't believe they had real name fields before not to defend what they're doing, just to temper some of the bigger fears of this announcement

okc still doesnt have a lastname field and they said they're cool with nicknames or w/e. I think all this did was to make usernames non-unique and allow a few more chars.

Well if you want to talk that, a certain international insurance conglomerate that recently merged with a European HQ company has most of their offices with a guest wifi only "secured" by hidden SSID. And in many of their locations that guest wifi appears to allow access to things that clearly were meant to be on internal credentials secured wifi if at all.
