Like at what point in the first amendment does it say "you can say whatever you want to whomever you want and not expect anything bad to happen afterwards" Well I can't excuse the grown-rear end adults who seem to think that the First Amendment is somehow protection against getting verbally bitchslapped and/or socially suplexed, but with teenagers at least they're dumb and inexperienced and their natural instinct is to test the limits and boundaries of what they can get away with until they get burnt badly enough to know "ok that's the line."

Some lawyer who is apparently a Tea Party Libertarian type thoroughly botches a murder defense and is brought up for disbarment before the state supreme court. He shows up dressed as Thomas Jefferson and tries to argue his Constitutional rights. It's quite bizarre and long. The guy starts presenting his case at about 22:30 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ewj3aj9Zbfk&t=171s

ITT I learned that when I visit the US again, I can commit whatever crimes I want, as long as I shout "I'M AN EUROPEAN CITIZEN" afterwards. In that case American laws don't apply to me and the police will just let me walk away free.

I was thinking, that exaggerated British commentary can't be real. I was right, according to the comments it originated as some comedy parody skit. No British person actually talks like that. It's Americans acting like stereotypical Brits.

In a monkey park near here, everyone gets monkey-proof bags to put their own bags in. Otherwise, they'll take everything they can get their hands on. The bags don't prevent monkeys from climbing onto your head and taking a piss, though.

They sure love the phrase "let the record show," don't they? I'm glad that jurisdictions are starting to crack down on this poo poo. A month or so ago, here in Illinois, a judge sentenced one of these idiots to prison time for filing false liens against court officials and police officers. She rejected a court-appointed defense attorney and instead represented herself, and sat quietly throughout the whole thing, only saying something along the lines of "these proceedings do not apply to me, these laws do not apply to me."
